A leading behavioral health organization is seeking a dedicated Program Director to oversee the daily operations and clinical programming of our outpatient mental health and substance use disorder services. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role offering an opportunity to drive impactful care for clients while supporting a multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Work Director of Operations, Clinical Director, Admissions, Utilization Review, and Marketing
- Monitors compliance standards with the Joint Commision Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (“JCAHO”) and the State of California
- Monitors all staff under their supervision and meets with them on a regular basis, providing feedback and training as needed.
- Conducts all performance reviews for staff under their supervision.
- Performs clinical and administrative supervision of counseling staff and managers.
- Facilitates weekly treatment planning meetings.
- Collaborates with the administration in relations with referral sources and other treatment agencies.
- Ensures the quality and timeliness of periodic reports to Courts and placement agencies.
- Reviews staff communication and shift logs for treatment implications.
- Keeps in close contact with all outside parties (sober living, IOPs, etc.) who have relationships with the company and ensures these relationships are maintained to the best of our abilities.
- Intervenes as needed, clinically, with clients (crisis, ATA risks, and individual/couple/family therapy sessions.)
- Review and complete timecards before payroll submission for all staff under their supervision.
- Maintain and oversee weekly schedules to ensure clients are fulfilling program requirements.
- Work with Clinical Director on program curriculum for quality assurance.
- Communicate and schedule outside contractors to facilitate groups within clinical and experiential groups within the program.
