We are a group practice in San Diego, CA providing psychotherapy to adults. Freedom Within Center (FWC) is seeking dedicated therapists to join our group practice in Old Town, San Diego. This is a W-2 positions for a therapist (Psychologist, LCSW,LMFT, ASW, AMFT) to work in a private practice setting providing counseling to individuals and couples. We welcome Licensed and Associate therapists to apply! Both part-time and full-time therapist positions available. We currently have both full-time and part-time roles, and therapists can either work entirely in the office or they can opt to work remotely, performing telehealth sessions or a combination of the two! 

Part time requires 18+ client hours/week (this typically means 20 – 22 clients need to be scheduled weekly).

Full time requires 24+client hours/week (this typically means 26-28 clients need to be scheduled weekly) with a flexible schedule, and is eligible for health insurance benefits.

Compensation:

  • $53-$65 per clinical hour for Licensed Masters Level DOE. This amounts to roughly $85k-$103k annually.*
  • $75-$85 per clinical hour for Licensed Doctoral level DOE. This amounts to roughly $117-$132k annually.*
  • $33-$40 per clinical hour for Associate Level Clinicians (those waiting for licensure). This amounts to roughly $59-$70k annually* 
  • Supervision for Associates is provided by an LCSW or LMFT at FWC. Time spent in supervision is compensated.
  • Administrative time (for note writing, meetings, etc) is paid at $25/hr. Late cancellations/no shows are paid.

Please note these calculations are based on a therapist who sees 28 clients/week. This factors in both clinical pay and administrative pay. These numbers do not account for any unpaid time off. These estimations will be lower or higher depending on how many clients you see weekly compared to the 28 we have estimated.
